WealthNav Building Blocks
This course introduces the main components WealthNav is built on. It’s important to understand these components so you can configure them for your lifestyle accurately to get a real sense of net worth and cash flow outcomes in your financial scenarios.
This tool is based off several concepts coming from the accounting industry (such as double-entry accounting.) We try to keep most of the nitty-gritty details out of the way for you. But its always good to remember that under the hood, the checks-and-balances that are in place are done using double-entry accounting. We chose double-entry because it does really well at handling complicated account setups. Since our users all have different financial pictures, we wanted to make sure we could handle the most simple but also the most complicated with our tool.
